We are very excited to have won two awards in the prestigious 2023 Great Taste awards!
The awards were announced at the beginning of August after more than 500 judges took part in blind taste tests to rate the quality of food producers across the country.
Our SEA SHANTY Banana spiced-rum & caramel was awarded a 2-star and our SLOE LANE Sloe gin truffle picked up a 1-star. The judges were very complimentary on both flavours.
On SEA SHANTY, the judges said, "We enjoyed the carefully considered contrasts of light caramel, creamy ganache and complementary banana flavour alongside the light touch of rum. A great little chocolate, and remarkable that it's vegan suitable".
With SLOE LANE, the judges commented, "This is a very attractive chocolate with a vibrant purple filling" - "Fruity and rich, smooth and luxurious. This would be a lovely gifting or after dinner chocolate".
