About Us

Pod & Briar is a small chocolatier business, based on the edge of the South Downs near Winchester. 

We are Lee and Nicci Bolinger. With a lot of experience making chocolates, we were excited to launch our venture in 2020 as ‘BoChocolat’. After a short break last year, we've changed things a little and relaunched as Pod & Briar - specialising in premium, plant-based chocolate, combined with British ingredients and wild flavours. 

The inspiration for our creations comes from a love of brilliant British craft producers making amazing ingredients and a personal interest in foraging for wild, unfamiliar flavours.

Together we hand-craft our chocolates in our small commercial chocolate kitchen. We don’t have a shop - all of our sales are online, with a modest range which are boxed to order. We hope to grow this in future - with more exciting flavours and formats to come.
